Aboriginal Family Support Program

The Aboriginal Family Support Program is a Community Action Program for Children (CAPC) program. It is designed to enable communities to develop comprehensive and integrated programs to promote the health and social development of children age 0-6 years and their families through the preconception, prenatal, postpartum, infant, and early childhood periods. Programs incorporate education, prevention and intervention. The program encourages the development of community-based and culturally appropriate services, which support the healthy birth and development of young children.
